Navi Mumbai: A major fire broke out at a chemical facility in the Taloja Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) area late Thursday night, sending shockwaves through the surrounding industrial zone.

Fire authorities reported that at least three fire engines were dispatched promptly to the site upon receiving alerts about the incident. Footage from the scene captured intense flames shooting skyward, accompanied by dense black smoke that blanketed the area and could be seen from a considerable distance.
