Siddhivinayak Temple Announces Special Darshan Timings, Free Facilities For Devotees On New Year’s Day

Mumbai: The Shree Siddhivinayak Ganpati Temple at Prabhadevi has announced special arrangements and darshan timings for the thousands of devotees expected to visit the shrine on New Year’s Day.
Temple opens at 3:15 am on January 1
Devotees are anticipated to start queueing from New Year’s Eve to receive blessings from the deity. The temple will open at 3:15 am on January 1 for early morning darshan until 5:30 am. Following mahapuja, naivedhya, and aarti between 5:30 am and 6:00 am, the temple will remain open for darshan until noon.
Darshan will resume at 12:30 pm after naivedhya. Following brief closures from 7:00 pm to 7:10 pm for dhoop aarti and from 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm for evening aarti, devotees can view the deity until 11:30 pm, when the shrine will close for the night.
Free bus and metro access for devotees
Devotees traveling to Dadar railway station can avail themselves of complimentary bus service from the station to the temple. Visitors have been encouraged to use the Siddhivinayak Temple Metro station to avoid road traffic.
Electronic items and mobile phones will not be permitted inside the temple, and devotees must deposit these items at designated counters outside the shrine. Free storage counters for footwear will be available during darshan hours.
Special queues and amenities for devotees
A dedicated queue will be available for senior citizens, parents with infants, disabled persons, and pregnant women. Separate queues for women will be maintained within the sanctum. LED televisions will provide devotees waiting in line with a live telecast of the rituals.
A medical post will be established for health emergencies. Complimentary tea and milk will be distributed to devotees. Ladoos and other prasad produced by the temple trust will be available for purchase at designated counters.
