Mumbai: Train services on Western Railway will be disrupted on May 16 and 17 due to a major engineering block at Dadar station in Mumbai. Several outstation trains have been short-terminated, short-originated, rescheduled or regulated as a result. Railway officials said the work is being carried out for infrastructure maintenance and passenger safety.
A similar block on the slow up and down suburban lines at Dadar was also conducted from midnight to 5 am on May 15 and 16.

- Train No. 12928 — Ekta Nagar-Dadar Superfast Express (Journey commencing May 16): Rescheduled by 1 hour 30 minutes from originating station Ekta Nagar.
- Train No. 22953 — Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Gujarat Superfast Express (Journey commencing May 17): Regulated by 30 minutes from Mumbai Central station.
- Train No. 12927 — Dadar-Ekta Nagar Express (Journey commencing May 16): Will be short-originated from Borivali station.
- Train No. 19003 — Dadar-Bhusaval Khandesh Express (Journey commencing May 17): Will be short-originated from Borivali station.
- Train No. 19038 — Barauni-Bandra Terminus Avadh Express (Journey commencing May 15): Regulated by 30 minutes between Virar and Vasai Road stations.
- Train No. 14707 — Hanumangarh-Dadar Ranakpur Express (Journey commencing May 16): Regulated by 30 minutes between Surat and Virar stations.
