Mumbai Air Quality Satisfactory at 80 as Temperatures Set to Touch 36°C

Mumbai’s overall air quality index stood at 80 on Tuesday, placing it in the satisfactory category. The city is expected to experience mainly clear skies across both the island city and the suburbs through the day.

According to the latest weather update from the India Meteorological Department, maximum temperatures are likely to reach around 36 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures are forecast near 25 degrees Celsius.

On Tuesday, the island city recorded a maximum of 32.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 28 degrees Celsius. In the suburbs, the maximum temperature rose to 34.8 degrees Celsius, with the minimum settling at 24.8 degrees Celsius.

The combination of clear skies and rising daytime temperatures continues the warm trend seen in early October. Residents can expect bright conditions with moderate humidity levels as the city moves further into the post-monsoon period.
