Mumbai Megablock: Announced on Sunday For Central And Harbour Lines

Mumbai: Today, Central Railway declared a megablock for Sunday and informed that it will affect Central and Harbour lines during block hours. It is planned to perform infrastructural changes and maintenance operations.

During the period, many suburban trains will be diverted while some will rest on the tracks. On the Central line, slow trains on the down line departing from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) between 10:48 am and 3:45 pm will be directed to the down fast line between CSMT and Vidyavihar on Sunday. These trains will halt at Byculla, Parel, Dadar, Matunga, Sion, and Kurla stations before being redirected to the slow route at Vidyavihar.
