Mumbai local train tragedy : Cm Fadnavis, Deputy CM Shinde and Deputy CM Pawar expressed grief

Mumbai : In the aftermath of the tragic incident on Monday between Diva and Mumbra, where several passengers fell from an overcrowded local train, Maharashtra government has expressed deep sorrow and called for urgent reforms to enhance suburban rail safety.
The state government has initiated an investigation, stating that the railway authorities and the concerned departments to submit a detailed report on how the incident occurred. CM Devendra Fadnavis took to his social media platform to describe the incident as ” very unfortunate” and paid condolences and heartfelt tributes to those who lost their lives. He stated,” It is very unfortunate that eight passengers fell from a local train between Diva and Mumbra stations, and some lost their lives. I pay my heartfelt tributes to them and share the grief to their families.“The local administration is coordinating efforts. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. The Railway Department has launched an investigation into the exact cause of this incident.
Deputy CM Eknath Shinde stated it as ,” I am deeply saddened by the terrible accident near Mumbra station this morning. Thousands of passengers travel this route daily. This is a very sad incident, and I share the grief of the families affected. He furtherly added that the instructions were immediately given to the hospitals in Thane and Kalwa to provide appropriate treatment to the injured, and he personally spoke to the doctors overseeing their care.
Deputy CM Ajit pawar expressed,” The death of passengers after falling from a suburban train travelling from Kasara to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus on the Central Railway is deeply painful, this accident underscores the urgent need to address crowding and enhance safety measures for passenger on suburban trains.“I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured and share the grief of the families. I pay my heartfelt tributes with a heavy heart.”
