Mumbai IndiGo Flight in Emergency Landing After Bomb Threat

An IndiGo flight from Jaipur to Mumbai made an emergency landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) on Monday evening after a bomb threat was discovered mid-flight. CSMIA confirmed the incident in a statement: “A threat note was discovered in an aircraft en route from Jaipur to Mumbai. Full emergency was declared at 2043 hrs, and the flight landed safely at 20.50 hrs. Airport operations remain unaffected.” A police official told that no suspicious items had been found so far, with security teams conducting thorough checks in coordination with IndiGo and other agencies.
Full emergency was declared for IndiGo flight 6E 5324 due to a bomb threat. The swift response ensured passenger safety, though the investigation into the threat’s origin continues. Authorities have yet to provide further details, but the incident underscores ongoing vigilance in Indian air travel.
