Mumbai Fire: Family Of 3 Killed In Overnight Blaze At House In Goregaon

Mumbai: A devastating fire claimed three lives from the same family early Saturday in a ground-plus-one-storey building in Goregaon West, Mumbai. The victims were sleeping when flames broke out, trapping them inside.
Neighbors rushed to help, pouring buckets of water on the fire before Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) teams arrived, but they couldn’t save the family. The blaze started around 3 am at a structure in Bhagat Singh Nagar, Rajaram Lane, near Janata Stores.
It gutted electrical wiring and household items on the ground floor, plus clothing of three people—two men and one woman—on the first floor. The specific room remains unidentified.
Firefighters cut the power supply and doused the flames with water buckets, controlling the fire by 3:16 am. They pulled out all three occupants and sped them to Trauma Care Hospital in a police van and private car.
