Mumbai Faces 24-hour Water Disruption On Dec 12-13: Andheri, BKC, Dharavi Among Affected Areas
Mumbai: Mumbai residents are bracing for a complete water supply shutdown lasting 24 hours beginning tomorrow, December 12. The disruption comes as the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) conducts critical pipeline connection operations. The infrastructure work will span multiple zones including K East (covering Jogeshwari and Andheri East), H East (encompassing Khar and Bandra East), and G North (Dharavi) wards. The municipal authority has advised citizens to stock adequate water and conserve usage during this period.
Water Cut Schedule
The supply suspension runs from 9 am on Friday, December 12, through 9 am on Saturday, December 13. Selected neighborhoods will face complete water outage during these hours, while some sections of Andheri East may encounter reduced water pressure.
