Mumbai Airport Issues Urgent Travel Guidelines Amid Heightened Security

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has released a passenger advisory in response to intensified security measures at major airports. The advisory, prompted by escalating tensions, outlines essential guidelines to ensure a smooth travel experience.
Travelers are urged to arrive well in advance of their scheduled flights to accommodate additional security screenings. The advisory emphasizes the importance of having passports, visas, government-issued photo IDs, and tickets or boarding passes readily accessible for inspections. Passengers are also advised to pack efficiently, adhering to security protocols. Liquids in carry-on luggage must be in containers of 100ml or less, stored in a clear zip-lock pouch, while electronics like laptops and tablets need to be placed separately in trays during screening.
The measures reflect a broader effort to maintain safety amid heightened alerts. CSMIA encourages passengers to comply with these directives to avoid delays and ensure a secure journey.
