Mobile Tower On Housing Society Building In Thane To be Removed Says Minister Uday Samant

Mumbai: The Indus company has installed a mobile tower on the building of Shri Vinayak Ashish Co-operative Housing Society in Mauje Manda, Thane district. Residents of this area have lodged complaints with the municipal corporation regarding the problems caused by this tower. In response, action will be taken to remove the tower from the building, as informed by Minister Uday Samant during the Question Hour in the Legislative Assembly.

This issue was raised by MLA Nana Patole, and MLAs Bhaskar Jadhav, Krishna Khopde, and Varun Sardesai also participated in the discussion. In his reply, Minister Samant stated that Indus company proceeded with the tower installation despite opposition from residents. The company broke the municipal corporation’s seal, which had been placed on the tower, and started operations without permission.

Once this violation was brought to the attention of the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation, the tower was declared illegal, and action to remove it was initiated. Now, the final step will be the complete removal of the mobile tower.
