Mumbai : On Tuesday, French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Mumbai commencing his three days official visit to India. PM Modi extended warm welcome showcasing the strength and future potential of the relations between India-France.
PM Narendra Modi shared a greeting on X stating, “Welcome to India! India looks forward to your visit and to advancing our bilateral ties to new heights. I am confident that our discussions will further strengthen cooperation across sectors and contribute to global progress. See you in Mumbai and later in Delhi, my dear friend.”

Before departing from India, President Macron posted on X that he is enrouting to India for 3 days for strategic partnership. This is his first official visit to Mumbai and fourth visit to India.

Later, PM Modi and President Macron are set to hold bilateral talks at Lok Bhavan in South Mumbai.
AI Mission On Board
At PM Modi’s request, President Macron will go to India from February 17 to 19 to attend the AI Impact Summit, which India is hosting. In Mumbai, the two leaders will also have a bilateral summit.
In addition to addressing corporate executives, start-ups, researchers, and innovators from both nations, they will jointly launch the India-France Year of Innovation 2026 during the visit.
It is anticipated that both parties would discuss important regional and international problems and assess the state of the India-France strategic alliance.
