Disha Patani’s Sister Rescues Abandoned Baby Girl in Bareilly, Calls Out Negligent Parents
Former Army Lieutenant Khushboo Patani shares emotional video of injured child she named Radha, vows to ensure proper care

Khushboo Patani, sister of actress Disha Patani and a former Lieutenant in the Indian Army, has garnered widespread admiration after rescuing an abandoned baby girl discovered near her home in Bareilly. Khushboo documented the rescue in a social media video, explaining that her mother first heard the infant’s cries.
The footage reveals the distressed child alone in a makeshift shelter with noticeable scratches across her face and body. In the emotional video, Khushboo comforts the baby, lifting her to safety while expressing outrage toward the parents who abandoned their child in such conditions.
“They’ve hurt this child. What kind of people are they?” Khushboo can be heard saying in Hindi. The video also shows Khushboo’s mother cradling the infant and attempting to feed her milk, though the baby struggles to drink.
Addressing the situation directly, Khushboo challenged: “If you are from Bareilly and this is your child, then tell us how the parents left her in this place. Shame on such parents!” She revealed she has named the rescued baby Radha and confirmed the child is currently receiving medical treatment.
The video prompted supportive responses from celebrities, with actress Bhumi Pednekar commenting, “God bless her and you,” while proud sister Disha wrote, “Bless you de and the little girl.”
In her impassioned caption, Khushboo tagged various authorities including Bareilly Police, UP Police, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, writing: “Please save girl child in our country! How long will this continue? I will ensure that she goes to the right hands and her life will flourish henceforth!”
The 33-year-old fitness coach and entrepreneur counselor incorporated the hashtag #betibachaobetipadhao in her post, highlighting the ongoing issue of girl child abandonment in India while pledging to secure proper care for Radha.
