Trustees of Lilavati Hospital have said that the black magic rituals evidences found from the premises of hospital. As many as eight jugs carrying human bones, skulls, hair, rice and other items related to occult practices found buried beneath the office floor of present trustees. Since last few days Lilavati Hospital has been in the news over alleged misappropriation of funds.
Following information from former employees and was documented on video during the excavation. It also came after the hospital trust filed an embezzlement case exceeding Rs 1,250 crore against its former trustees, who allegedly siphoned off the funds through fraudulent orders and records. Yet the former trustee rejected the allegations as baseless.
As many as three FIRs registered for the alleged financial misappropriation by former trustees, including Vijay Mehta, brother of Lilavati Hospital’s founder Kishore Mehta, and his relatives. Apart from these complaints, another complaint was filed under the Maharashtra Anti-Black Magic Act as hospital employees reported evidence of black magic practices allegedly used by the former trustees. It is to be said that former trustees want to harm Prashant Megta and his mother Charu Mehta.
Chetan Mehta, son of Vijay Mehta, denied the allegations of black magic. He said that the black magic allegations do not even merit a response. In 2002, Kishore Mehta travelled abroad for medical treatment, during which his brother, Vijay Mehta, took temporary charge of the trust.
Vijay Mehta allegedly forged documents and signatures to appoint his sons and nephews as trustees while removing Kishore Mehta as a permanent trustee. Kishore Mehta’s death in 2024, his son Prashant Mehta became the permanent trustee. Prashant conducted a forensic audit of accounts, which uncovered significant financial irregularities, including embezzlement through fake orders and records.
