A 30-year-old businessman and his two companions sustained injuries in a high-speed crash on the Bandra Worli Sea Link early Sunday morning, according to police reports. The businessman, who was behind the wheel, was found to be intoxicated at the time of the accident.
The incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. as the trio traveled back to Ghatkopar from the Haji Ali area, an official stated. The group, consisting of the businessman from Ghatkopar and his friends, aged 32 and 47, had been in south Mumbai earlier that night.
Authorities reported that the businessman lost control of the vehicle while navigating the sea link, causing the car to slam into a divider. All three occupants were injured in the collision, the official confirmed.
