Ambani Family Mourns Loss of Beloved Pet Dog Happy
The Ambani family is grieving the loss of their cherished golden retriever, Happy, who passed away on April 30, 2025. According to sources, the family honored their beloved pet with a heartfelt tribute, describing Happy as a treasured member of their household.
Happy, closely bonded with Anant Ambani, was a familiar presence at significant family events, including Anant’s wedding to Radhika Merchant on July 12, 2024, in Mumbai. During the lavish wedding celebrations, which spanned from July 12 to July 30 and drew global celebrities, Happy captured attention in a custom pink Banarasi silk brocade jacket designed by Ahmedabad-based Pannkh Designer Pet Wear. The dog also appeared alongside Ambani children and featured in a memorable family photo from the wedding.
The Ambani family expressed their sorrow through an emotional note, stating, “Dear Happy, you will forever be a part of us and live on in our hearts. Heaven’s gain is our loss.” They accompanied the tribute with a floral arrangement around a photograph of Happy, paying their final respects.
Anant Ambani, known for his deep love for animals, recently launched the Vantara wildlife conservation and rehabilitation center in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The loss of Happy, who was a constant companion, has deeply affected the family, particularly Anant.
