Mid-Air Miracle: Baby Born on Air India Express Flight

In an extraordinary event, a Thai woman gave birth to a baby boy aboard an Air India Express flight traveling from Muscat to Mumbai on Thursday. The airline’s cabin crew, supported by a nurse among the passengers, skillfully assisted with the delivery mid-flight.

When the woman went into labor, the crew promptly utilized their training to create a safe and supportive environment for the birth. The nurse on board volunteered to help, and together they managed the delivery before the plane landed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. The pilots, informed of the situation, contacted Mumbai Air Traffic Control to secure priority landing. Upon arrival, medical teams and an ambulance were ready to transport the mother and newborn to a nearby hospital for further care.
