US Vice President JD Vance and Usha Vance to Visit India later this month: Report

New Delhi: US Vice President JD Vance is scheduled to travel to India later this month, accompanied by his wife, Usha Vance, who holds the title of Second Lady of the United States, according to a report by Politico, citing three sources with knowledge of the arrangements.

This trip will be Vice President Vance’s second international visit since taking office. For Usha Vance, it will be her first journey back to her ancestral homeland as the Second Lady.

The visit occurs at a time when trade relations between India and the United States are experiencing some strain, particularly regarding disagreements over tariff reductions.

According to the report, “It marks Vance’s second foreign trip as vice president after making his world stage debut in France and Germany last month.
