Tulsi Gabbard Condemns Pahalgam Terror Attack, Vows Support for India’s Fight Against Islamist Terrorism

Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence (DNI) and prominent American political figure, strongly denounced the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, expressing unwavering support for India in its pursuit of justice.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Gabbard condemned the brutal assault that claimed the lives of 28 civilians, identifying it as an act of Islamist terrorism. She offered heartfelt condolences to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian people.

“We stand in solidarity with India in the wake of the horrific Islamist terrorist attack, targeting and killing 26 Hindus in Pahalgam. My prayers and deepest sympathies are with those who lost a loved one, PM @narendramodi, and with all the people of India,” she posted.

She further emphasized, “We are with you and support you as you hunt down those responsible for this heinous attack.”

The deadly ambush occurred on April 22, 2025, in the Baisaran Valley area near Pahalgam, marking one of the deadliest civilian-targeted attacks in Jammu and Kashmir since the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. Over 20 individuals were also injured in the strike.
