All 40 Victims of Deadly Swiss Alps Bar Fire Now Identified

ZURICH — Swiss authorities announced on Sunday that the final 16 individuals who perished in a catastrophic fire at a bar in the alpine resort of Crans-Montana have been formally identified.

The identification completes the process for all 40 victims of the blaze, which erupted at Le Constellation bar in the early hours of January 1 during New Year’s celebrations.

Police stated that no further details regarding the victims’ identities would be released.
