Squid Game Season 3: Final Chapter Premieres Today in India

Netflix’s global sensation, Squid Game, is set to conclude with its third and final season, premiering today, June 27, 2025. The South Korean dystopian thriller, which has captivated audiences worldwide since its 2021 debut, will drop all six episodes at 12:30 PM IST, allowing Indian fans to dive into the climactic chapter. Directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, the series follows 456 financially desperate contestants competing in deadly versions of children’s games for a massive cash prize.

Season 3 picks up after the dramatic cliffhanger of Season 2, where a rebellion led by Seong Gi-hun, also known as Player 456, failed. According to the official synopsis shared, Gi-hun, portrayed by Lee Jung-jae, is at his lowest point yet, grappling with betrayal and loss. Despite his despair, he is thrust back into the brutal games, facing tougher challenges and life-or-death decisions. The Front Man, played by Lee Byung-hun, resumes his role overseeing the mysterious VIPs, while detective Jun-ho, portrayed by Wi Ha-joon, continues his search for the secret island hosting the games, unaware of a traitor among his allies.

The final season will explore whether Gi-hun can dismantle the sinister organization behind the games or succumb to the Front Man’s manipulations. The cast includes returning actors Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Jo Yu-ri, Chae Kuk-hee, Lee David, Roh Jae-won, and Jun Suk-ho, with Park Hee-soon making a special appearance.

All six episodes will be available to stream on Netflix starting at 12:00 AM PT (12:30 PM IST).
