Masood Azhar’s Brothers-In-Law, Lashkar HQ Chief Killed In Operation Sindoor

New Delhi: On the morning of May 7, around 1.30 am, India struck nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir as part of Operation Sindoor. Mudassar Khadian Khas, Hafiz Muhammed Jameel, Mohammad Yusuf Azhar, Khalid (Abu Akasha) and Mohammad Hassan Khan were five of the many terrorists who were killed in the Indian strikes, as per sources.

A senior Lashkar-e-Taiba operative, Mudassar, also known as Mudassar or Abu Jundal, was in charge of Markaz Taiba in Muridke, the terrorist outfit’s headquarters. He was given a guard of honour by the Pakistan Army, and wreaths were laid on behalf of Army Chief General Asim Munir and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

Affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammed, Hafiz Muhammed Jameel was the eldest brother-in-law of JeM chief Maulana Masood Azhar. He headed the Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur and was deeply involved in radical indoctrination efforts and fundraising activities for the group. His role in shaping the ideological foundation of young recruits made him a critical asset to JeM.
