Massive Blaze Ignites in Malaysian Suburb, Sparks Widespread Evacuations

A massive fire broke out on Tuesday in Putra Heights, a suburb just outside Malaysia’s capital, forcing residents to flee their homes as flames soared into the sky. The intense blaze, located near a gas station in central Selangor state, could be seen from kilometers (miles) away, alarming locals and authorities alike.

Selangor state firefighters rushed to the scene in droves to combat the inferno. Selangor Fire Department Director Wan Mohamad Razali Wan Ismail reported that a ruptured gas pipeline was the apparent source of the fire. Details beyond this initial assessment remained scarce at the time of reporting.
