Kim Kardashian Says She Doesn’t Know the Ambanis, Reveals Why She Attended Wedding

In a recent episode of The Kardashians Kim Kardashian shared insights into her attendance at the high-profile wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai. Despite not personally knowing the Ambani family, Kim and her sister Khloé decided to attend the lavish event on a spontaneous whim. Kim recalled, “We got this random invitation to a wedding… We were like, ‘What is this? Let’s check it out.'”

The invitation itself was notably extravagant, weighing between 18 to 22 kilograms. Kim described it as “the most extravagant thing I have ever seen,” highlighting the grandeur associated with the Ambani family’s celebrations.

During the wedding, Kim and Khloé embraced traditional Indian attire. Kim wore a ruby red lehenga adorned with intricate beadwork, paired with a cropped top and a dupatta. She accessorized with a diamond maang tikka and layered diamond necklaces. Khloé opted for a shimmering gold and white lehenga, complemented by a long-sleeved, off-the-shoulder top and matching accessories.

Reflecting on the experience, Kim expressed her admiration for the rich cultural heritage showcased at the event, stating, “It was such a beautiful experience, immersing ourselves in a different culture.”

The Ambani wedding was a star-studded affair, reportedly costing around $600 million, with performances by international artists and attendance by global celebrities.
