Kevin Hart Cancels India Comedy Show After Pahalgam Attack

American comedian and actor Kevin Hart has called off his planned comedy performance in India, citing the recent terror attack in Pahalgam as the reason for the cancellation. The show, part of his “Acting My Age” tour, was slated for April 30 in Delhi, marking his debut performance in the country.

Hart, recognized for roles in films like “Get Hard,” “The Wedding Ringer,” and the “Ride Along” series, was set to take the stage in a highly anticipated event. However, following the tragic attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, which claimed 26 lives, mostly tourists, last Tuesday, the event has been scrapped.

Event organizers, District By Zomato, announced the decision via their official Instagram account on Sunday. “In response to the recent tragic events, we, in collaboration with Kevin Hart’s team, have decided to cancel the Delhi show scheduled for April 30,” the statement read. The organizers emphasized their commitment to rescheduling, noting they are working with Hart’s team to determine new dates and will provide updates soon.

The Instagram post further expressed solidarity with those impacted by the attack, stating, “While we were eager to come together for this event, we feel it’s appropriate to pause and stand with those affected.” District By Zomato also confirmed that full refunds for ticket holders will be processed automatically.

Other artists, including singers Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, AP Dhillon, and Papon, have similarly postponed their concerts in response to the Pahalgam attack.
