Italian Deputy PM’s India Visit Signals Stronger Bilateral Ties

Antonio Tajani, Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister, is set to arrive in India for a two-day visit on April 11-12, where he will engage with top Indian officials, including President Droupadi Murmu and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, to strengthen diplomatic and economic relations between the two nations. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) released a media advisory detailing the visit.

Tajani’s itinerary begins in Delhi on April 11 with scheduled discussions at Hyderabad House alongside Jaishankar, followed by a meeting with Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal at Vanijya Bhawan. On the second day, April 12, he will visit Rashtrapati Bhavan to meet President Murmu in the afternoon, according to the advisory.
