New Delhi : A hospital floor at Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba struck by an Iranian missile had been evacuated just a day earlier, according to Israel’s national ambulance service. Eli Bin, head of Magen David Adom, said the floor was cleared of patients on Wednesday as a precaution amid escalating tensions. Many lives were saved, Bin said. Israel’s health minister on Thursday condemned Iran’s missile strike on Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba as an act of terror and a war crime, accusing Tehran of deliberately targeting civilians.

In Holon, one person was seriously wounded and nearly two dozen others sustained minor injuries after a missile impact in a residential area, the Times of Israel reported.
