Is it P-I-E-C-E or Peace? Elon Musk’s Wordplay Jab on Trump’s Board of Peace gets Viral
Davos : Elon Musk never fails to stun netizens by his quirky response that gets noticed by users within no seconds. From taking sharp digs at public figures, tech leaders or be it any institution, he never fails to spread his wide mouth open for any less and yet again it’s his homebound leader Donald Trump !
In a panel discussion with BlackRock CEO Larry Fink at the World Economic Forum on Thursday, Tech billionaire Elon Musk mocked US President Donald Trump right after his announcement on the ‘Board of Peace’ Initiative. It is an international organisation developed to compete with the UN after it was first presented as a way to supervise Gaza’s reconstruction. The $1 billion required for permanent membership has led some to call it a “pay-to-play” vanity enterprise.
So during the conversation, Musk suggested the name of Trump’s Board should have been ‘piece’ instead of ‘peace’. He said, “I heard about the formation of the peace summit? And I was like, Is that P-I-E-C-E or Peace? Like a little piece of Greenland, a little piece of Venezuela.”
By cracking jokes at the Peace foundation the social media immediately picked up the wordplay which was later covered up by the statement “ All we want is peace “ added by Musk.
The remark refers to the ambitious plan of Trump’s ‘Monroe Doctrine’ which means that USA’s Foreign Policy opposes any foreign interference in the Western Hemisphere.

This whole scenario got into the eyes of public domain and soon the clip went viral on Social Media platform X, where one user said, “Elon Musk is the only person who can roast President Trump and validate his strategy in the same sentence! Whether it’s Peace for the world or a Piece of Greenland for US security, the outcome is the same: a stronger America. The Trump-Musk dynamic is exactly what global politics needed: results mixed with a sense of humour.”
Another user commented, praising Musk’s sense of humour, “Lol, that’s just typical Elon. He’s got a fantastic sense of humour.” while the other user wrote, “Nah, it’s the BoD: Board of Dictators.”
A fourth user criticized Elon Musk for first being Trump’s best friend, then making fun of him, later defending him and finally mocking him. He said musk is confused and has no clue what to do with his life.
