Delhi Police Detain 15 Foreigners for Illegal Stay, Begin Deportation Process

Delhi Police have apprehended 15 foreign nationals for residing in India without valid visas, initiating their deportation, an official stated on Monday. The group, comprising two Bangladeshis, 12 Nigerians, and one person from Ivory Coast, was detained during a focused operation in the Mohan Garden and Uttam Nagar areas of the capital.
Authorities discovered that the individuals had overstayed their legal permissions, prompting their transfer to a detention center. Following a thorough verification process by the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), the order for their deportation was issued, according to police.
