Zomato’s Food Delivery COO Steps Down to Chase New Ventures

Rinshul Chandra, the Chief Operating Officer overseeing Zomato’s food delivery operations, has stepped down from his role, according to a regulatory filing released by the company. Chandra’s resignation took effect on April 5, with the executive citing a desire to explore fresh opportunities and personal passions as his reason for leaving.
In a filing issued on Saturday, Zomato confirmed Chandra’s departure and shared details from his resignation letter to company founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal. “I am writing to resign as COO , Food Ordering & Delivery Business of Eternal Limited, effective April 7, 2025,” Chandra wrote. “After careful consideration, I have decided to pursue new opportunities and passions that align with my evolving personal and professional goals.”
While Zomato’s food delivery service continues to operate under its well-known brand name and app, the corporate entity behind it has been renamed Eternal Limited, the filing noted.
