5.5 Magnitude Earthquake Rocks Pakistan, No Damage Reported

The National Center for Seismology reports that an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 occurred in Pakistan on Saturday. Deaths or property damage were not immediately reported.

This occurs just hours after Pakistan was hit by a magnitude 5.3 earthquake on Friday night. The NCS stated in an X post that the earthquake on Friday happened at a depth of 75 kilometers.

On Wednesday night, Venezuela was hit by two powerful earthquakes that left thousands of people missing and over 900 dead.

The epicenter of the first earthquake, which had a magnitude of 7.2, was located approximately 168 kilometers west of the capital, Caracas, west of the town of Moron. The depth of the earthquake was 22 kilometers. A minute later, a second earthquake with a magnitude of 7.5 occurred. Its epicenter was 16 kilometers southwest of Moron, and its depth was 10 kilometers.
