Vishal Aggarwal Gets A Victorious Welcome After Getting Bail In Pune-Porsche Tragedy

Pune: Vishal Agarwal, father to the son who was involved in a car crash incident which resulted in the deaths of two engineers, was welcomed with a celebratory moment by his family after getting bail on the order of the Supreme Court. The video of him wearing garlands of notes and dancing with his family is surfacing on the Internet and is believed to be from the moment after the court granted him bail on March 10.

Vishal and his wife were detained in a foul play act, where they deliberately attempted to violate the authentic evidence to disprove his son’s alcohol influence at the time of the tragedy. They also tried to divert the case and made efforts to put the blame for the accident on their driver.

A bench of Justices B V Nagarathna and Ujjal Bhuyan granted bail to Agarwal on March 10, 2026. “We note that the appellant herein has been in jail for the last 22 months. The appellant has made out a case for bail. Bail granted subject to terms and conditions to be imposed by the trial court,” the bench ordered. The Supreme Court further restrained them from making any contact with the witnesses of the case.

In the video, the family seems to be joyously partying for Vishal’s arrival, with his son lifting him and dancing to the song “Bambai Se Aaya Mera Dost” in a public restaurant. Besides this, the son gets a pat from what is likely to be a relative, as if it is a triumphant victory on getting bail from the crime of foul play.

The Pune-Porsche case happened in May 2024 when Vishal Agarwal’s 17-year-old son was at the steering wheel of a luxurious Porsche car when he crushed two IT professionals, Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Costa, who were riding a motorcycle in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar area. The accused was granted bail within 15 hours of the crime, and the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) told him to assist for a fortnight with the traffic police of Pune and write a 300-word essay on road safety. This erupted in outrageous reactions from people across the nation.

The recent viral video indicated that Vishal has performed a deedful act, and there isn’t any expression of remorse, guilt, or even acknowledgment of the incident on any of the visible faces. Currently, the accused is under observation at home, with the JJB ordering to detain him once he crosses the eligible age of adulthood. With this, the offenders are jiving while the victims’ justice still remains unanswered.
