India on Sunday strongly condemned the repeated attacks on Saudi Arabia’s King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which killed 12 people and injured more than 300.
In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs said it strongly condemned the attacks over the past few days, including the assault on October 10 that resulted in loss of lives, injuries and damage to property. India expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to those injured. The statement described the repeated attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure as completely unacceptable and called for them to cease immediately.
India also expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia, affirming that it stood with the country and its people in defending their sovereignty and hoped that peace and normalcy would return to the region soon.
The United States also condemned the attacks. Asked whether Washington might join strikes against the Houthis, US President Donald Trump said the matter was under review and that a decision would be made quickly. He described the attack as a terrible thing while noting that the Saudis were good fighters.

King Khalid International Airport has faced multiple attacks over the past week following the launch of a major military offensive by a Saudi-led coalition against Iran-backed Houthi rebels in neighbouring Yemen. Earlier attacks on the same airport and Abha International Airport on October 6 and 7 reportedly killed three people and injured 36.
Following the latest strike, airport operations were temporarily suspended and travellers were evacuated. Dozens of ambulances were deployed to the site. Passengers were advised to check flight status with airlines before heading to the airport. Flights bound for Riyadh were diverted, and at least 225 flights at the airport were cancelled in the preceding 24 hours.
