If you’ve been waiting on the Rajasthan Board Class 8 result, the wait is over. The RBSE Class 8 result for 2026 is being released today, March 24, 2026. Results will be available on the Shala Darpan portal at rajshaladarpan.rajasthan.gov.in.
The direct result link will go live on the portal today itself.
You’ll need your roll number — and your date of birth
To check the result, students need both their roll number and date of birth. Neither alone will work. The board has asked students to keep their admit cards handy, since that’s where both details are printed.

The result is being released from the RBSE office in Ajmer. It will be accessible on these two official websites:

- rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in
One thing worth noting: some websites circulate rajshaladarpan.nic.in as a result-checking link. That site is not an official RBSE portal, and the board has not recommended using it.

How to check your result online
Once the result is out, here’s how to access it:
- Go to rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in or rajshaladarpan.rajasthan.gov.in
- On the homepage, click the RBSE Rajasthan Board 8th Result 2026 link
- Enter your roll number and date of birth
- Your result will appear on screen
- Download or print the marksheet for your records
No automatic promotion this year — 33% marks needed to pass
This year, the board has dropped its automatic promotion policy for Class 5 and Class 8. Students must score at least 33% in every subject to pass. Those who don’t make the cut will get a second chance — a supplementary exam held within 45 days of the result. Passing that exam saves the academic year.
Where to collect the physical marksheet
The marksheet won’t be handed out immediately after the result. It takes a few days. The board sends marksheets directly to schools, and students can collect theirs from their class teacher or principal once they arrive.
