POCSO Accused Allegedly Kills Wife, Two Children And Three Members Of Complainant’s Family In Telangana

Hyderabad: A man accused in a Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) case allegedly killed six people, including his wife, two children and three members of the complainant’s family, in Telangana’s Ranga Reddy district on Friday. Police have launched a manhunt to trace the accused, who is on the run.

The accused, identified as B. Rajkumar, allegedly first attacked the complainant’s family, killing the minor girl who had filed the case against him, her mother and grandmother. He then returned home and allegedly murdered his wife and their two young sons.

Police said Rajkumar was arrested earlier this year in connection with a POCSO case and was out on bail at the time of the incident. Investigators suspect the killings were carried out in retaliation for the case registered against him.

Multiple police teams have been deployed to nab the accused, while forensic teams are examining the crime scenes. The incident has sparked concern over the safety of victims and their families in cases involving accused persons released on bail.
