Ghaziabad : Three minor girls fell from the balcony of Bharat City Society apartment of Ghaziabad district in Uttar Pradesh in the early hours of wednesday over family dispute on online gaming addiction.

All the three girls have been identified as Pakhi (12 years), Parchi (14 years) and Vishika (16 Years). Preliminary reports reveal that all the three sisters were having good relations among themselves by carrying out their daily routine activities from bathing, eating, to attending schools, playing and sleeping together.

The incident took place at the midnight hour of 2 am on Wednesday. The guards and locals on the ground floor woke up hearing the loud noise of girls falling, and even their family members on the ninth floor woke up.

The game addiction that started during the covid 19 lockdown period made the girls obsessed about their fever for task based online game “Korean Love Game”.

Moreover their craze towards online gaming made them distracted from the real world. Hence after some time they even became irregular for their school. Parents used to snatch their phone from their hand as they would sit for long hours on mobile phones and barely detach themselves into reality.

Police said they will analyse these girls’ phones to seek more data and know what else they were involved in.

Police Commissioner Atul Kumar Singh said they recovered a suicide note form the site saying they are sorry and also made a crying caricature. They thought they were not Indians but Koreans as they were highly obsessed with the game. They portrayed themselves as Korean princesses under the influence of the game. More details are to be investigated, said the team.
