CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Fires Back at Pakistan Followers Claim, Shows 94.7% Audience Is Indian

Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) India’s viral political satire phenomenon has rejected claims that his Instagram following is dominated by users from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the US.

The backlash followed the CJP account crossing 15 million followers (it now sits at 18 million). Users on Instagram and X circulated screenshots and videos showing follower analytics that listed Pakistan, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey among the top audience locations. Some posts claimed that 77% of the account’s followers were from outside India, with Indians making up just 9%.

Dipke posted his own screenshot on X the account’s audience breakdown and let the numbers speak. India: 94.7%. United States: 1.0%. United Kingdom: 0.7%. Canada: 0.6%. UAE: 0.6%.

“Why would you call 94% of Indian youth Pakistanis?” he wrote.

He also alleged that the same people behind the claims had attempted to hack the account. “But since you have failed to do so, let me share the real data,” Dipke said.
