The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class 12 examination results for 2026 shortly, with lakhs of students across India waiting for the official declaration. According to reports published by The Hindu and other education portals, students will be able to check their marks online through multiple official platforms once the results are released.
Candidates can follow this procedure to know their results-
- First, visit the DigiLocker website or open the mobile app.
- Next, sign in using your Aadhar-linked mobile number
- Search for “CBSE” under the Education category.
- Now simply select “CBSE Class 12 Result 2026.”
- Enter your Roll Number, School Code, and Admit Card ID to view your marks.
- Download and save your digitally signed marksheet.
- Students can also visit official websites such as cbse.gov.in , results.cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in
According to reports, the CBSE Class 12 board examinations for 2026 were conducted between February and April this year. More than 18 lakh students reportedly appeared for the examinations. The board has also continued the use of the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system introduced for evaluating answer sheets digitally to improve accuracy and transparency in the assessment process.
Students are advised to download and save a copy of their online marksheet for future use until the original documents are issued by their respective schools. Reports also mentioned that candidates who are dissatisfied with their scores may apply for verification or re-evaluation after the declaration of results.
