Bus Crashes Into Container In Telangana, 6 Dead, Several Injured

In the early hours of Wednesday, a private transport bus collided with a container truck on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway in Telangana’s Suryapet district, killing at least six persons, including five women, and injuring about a dozen more.

The bus, which was traveling from Hyderabad to Eluru and heading toward Vijayawada, struck the vehicle from behind at approximately 4:30 in the morning. The bus’s front section sustained significant damage as a result of the collision.

Approximately twelve passengers were seriously injured, and six passengers are said to have died instantly. According to reports, three of the injured are in severe condition and have been sent to Vijayawada for further care.

“The accident claimed the lives of six people, including five women. A senior police official informed PTI that at least 12 other people who were hurt had been admitted to a hospital.

According to authorities, the vehicle may have struck a road divider before the bus did. According to preliminary information, the bus was carrying forty-two people when the tragedy occurred. A Revanth Reddy, the chief minister of Telangana, offered his sympathies for the accident victims.

He expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased. According to news agency PTI, he instructed the Chief Secretary to take the required steps to give injured people cutting-edge medical care.

To determine the precise reason of the collision, police have opened an inquiry.
