10 Bullets In 5 Seconds: Bishnoi Gang Claims Gym Owner’s Murder, Warns Of More Attacks

Hansi: In a chilling display of gang violence, a gym owner was shot dead after assailants fired nearly 10 rounds in just five seconds outside his fitness centre in Haryana’s Hansi on Thursday morning. The brazen attack, captured on CCTV, has sent shockwaves across the region, with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly claiming responsibility and issuing fresh warnings of further attacks.

The victim, identified as Deepak (25), was leading an outdoor workout session near his gym at around 5:30 am when two motorcycle borne attackers arrived and opened fire without warning. Witnesses said multiple shots rang out in rapid succession before the gunmen fled the scene.

Police officials confirmed that Deepak died on the spot after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds. A young woman present during the workout session was also reportedly injured in the firing and was rushed for medical treatment.

The entire incident was caught on nearby CCTV cameras, footage of which has since surfaced online. Investigators are examining the recordings to identify the shooters and reconstruct the sequence of events. Initial reports suggest that around 10 bullets were fired within seconds, highlighting the precision and planning behind the attack.

Shortly after the murder, social media posts allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang surfaced, claiming responsibility for the killing. Authorities are currently verifying the authenticity of these posts as part of their investigation. The gang’s name has repeatedly surfaced in connection with high-profile shootings, extortion cases and threats across northern India.

Police have launched a massive manhunt and are conducting raids at multiple locations. Investigators are probing several possible motives, including personal rivalry, gang-related disputes and other local angles. Officials have not ruled out any possibility and say the exact motive will become clearer once the shooters are identified and apprehended.

The killing comes amid heightened concern over the growing reach of organised crime networks. Coincidentally, on the same day, gunshots were fired outside a gym linked to Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa in Delhi’s Paschim Vihar area, with a faction of the Bishnoi gang also claiming responsibility for that incident through social media posts. No injuries were reported in the Delhi firing, but the development has intensified fears about the gang’s expanding footprint.

As forensic teams continue to collect evidence from the crime scene, security has been tightened in the area. The murder has left residents and members of the local fitness community shaken, with many questioning how gunmen could execute such a deadly attack in broad daylight and escape within moments.

Police have appealed to the public for information and assured that those responsible will be tracked down and brought to justice.
