The Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET) for Assistant Professor positions in universities and colleges across the state will open for applications on August 18, 2025, as announced earlier by Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.

• Application window: August 18 to September 6, 2025 (online registration and fee payment)
• Exam date: September 16, 2025

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must hold a valid postgraduate (Master’s) degree to apply.
• Students in the final year/semester of their Master’s programme are also eligible.
• Minimum marks required: 55% for General category; 50% for other categories.

Application Fee

• General, General-EWS, and SEBC candidates: ₹900
• SC and ST candidates: ₹700
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD): ₹100
