Two Assailants Brutally Kill Son Of Woman Police Officer In Public In Bhavnagar City

Bhavnagar: A shocking murder in broad daylight has rocked Bhavnagar city, where the young son of a woman police officer was brutally stabbed to death in public by two attackers in the afternoon. The incident occurred on the road from Panchvati Chowk to Ghogha toll gate. After the attack, the assailants fled the scene, prompting a swift police response and an ongoing investigation.

According to preliminary information, Keval Dilipbhai Ahir, son of ASI Rekhaben Ahir of Ghogha Road Police Station, had gone with a friend to collect a car that had been left at a service center. While he was on the way, two unidentified men ambushed him and launched a frenzied knife attack, fatally stabbing him before fleeing. The attack is suspected to be the result of a personal vendetta.

Sindhal confirmed that the murder took place in broad daylight near Panchvati Chowk. “Keval was attacked with knives in the neck and abdomen while he was out to retrieve his car. We are actively pursuing the attackers,” he stated.

Police have sent the body for post-mortem and begun formal procedures to register the case. DySP Sindhal added that all CCTV cameras along the route are being reviewed to trace the killers. Rekhaben Ahir, the victim’s mother, continues to serve as an ASI at Ghogha Road Police Station.
