Mobile Phone & Suicide Note Found In Deceased's Car, Shocking Details In Note

A tragic incident has surfaced in Mehsana’s Kadi, where three members of a family have committed suicide. A husband-wife and their 10-year-old son ended their lives by jumping into the Narmada canal. A suicide note and a mobile phone have been found, based on which the police have launched investigation.

The deceased have been identified as Dharmesh Panchal (age 38 years), Urmila Panchal (26 years), and Prakash Panchal (10 years). The family hailed from Shankheshwar. Apparently, Dharmesh Panchal was involved in fabrication business since the last 10 years.

The deceased’s car has been found near the canal, in which a suicide note and a mobile phone have also been found. In the suicide note, Dharmesh mentioned that he wished to live, but some people had ruined his life. Those people had taken his advantage and had taken interest of the already accumulated interest. They were also threatening him; they tortured him mentally.

The deceased further wrote that he had no other option than dying. He was trapped in an inescapable vicious circle. Expressing his hope while appealing to the government, he wrote that the things and torture done to him by those people should not be done to anyone else. However, there is no mention of the names of the usurers in the note.

Speaking on the issue, Dharmesh’s father Khetabhai shared that his one and only son Dharmesh lived with his wife and son in Shankheshwar since the last 10 years. He was involved in the fabrication business. He had established a factory and might have borrowed money on interest, but might have faced loss in the business. The usurers threatened him, due to which he took the extreme step of committing suicide, he alleged. He appealed to the government that justice should be served.

The bodies of Urmilaben and Prakash were found late at night on Saturday (June 7) from the Adundra Narmada Canal. Dharmesh’s body was found from the Balasar Narmada Canal today morning (June 8). Bodies of all the deceased have been sent for post-mortem.

The police have recorded the statements of other family members and have registered a case. Call details and other content present in the phone might also play a key role in the investigation. The incident has sent shock waves through the family of the deceased.
