Comedian Kapil Sharma’s restaurant, Kap’s Cafe, in Surrey, Canada, has once again come under attack—marking the third firing incident in just three months. The latest shooting was reported on October 16 outside the eatery located at 85 Avenue and Scott Road, with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claiming responsibility.
According to Canadian media reports, the gang’s associates, Goldy Dhillon and Kuldeep Sidhu Nepali, posted a statement on social media taking credit for the attack. Dhillon is reportedly linked to Lawrence Bishnoi’s criminal network.
The first shooting occurred in July, shortly after the restaurant’s grand opening on July 4, when unidentified assailants fired multiple bullets at the property. A second firing followed on August 7, further raising security concerns among locals and fans of the celebrity comedian.
Following the July attack, Kap’s Cafe had shut its doors for ten days as police initiated an investigation. When it reopened, the management released a statement reaffirming their resolve to stand “strong against violence” and continue serving as “a place of warmth and community” for visitors.
Police in Surrey are investigating the latest firing, which adds to growing concerns about gang-linked violence in the city.
