A shocking incident has surfaced in Jahangirpura, Surat, wherein BJP’s Ward No.8 General Secretary Aditya Upadhyay and his friend Gaurav Singh took turns raping a 23-year-old woman. According to the received information, the BJP General Secretary had drugged the woman and taken her to a hotel, where Gaurav was already present. Both the accused committed the heinous crime together.
After the act, the accused left the victim near her house and fled. When the victim gained consciousness, she informed the police and filed a complaint. The police undertook immediate action and arrested both the accused.
In addition, upon learning about the incident, BJP also took action and suspended Aditya Upadhyay from the post of General Secretary.
