A disturbing incident of hit and run has occurred in Surat, wherein a dumper driver crushed a 12-year-old boy to death. The boy died on the spot.
The incident has been captured in the CCTV footage of the area, which is viral on social media. Based on the CCTV footage, police have registered a case of accident and hit and run, and started investigations.
The shocking incident took place in the Sachin GIDC area. The dumper driver, while reversing the vehicle, crushed a 12-year-old boy named Ashish Nishad who was passing from behind, leading to his tragic demise.
However, despite the child being crushed, the dumper driver took the dumper forward again and crushed the child a second time.
The police have filed a case against the dumper driver, but they are yet to arrest the accused.
