Strong Winds, Unseasonal Rains Predicted In Gujarat In Coming Days

Several Districts Likely To Face Heavy Rains

Gujarat is experiencing a dual type of weather, where on one hand, in many cities the temperature has crossed 40 degrees, whereas on the other hand, some areas are facing a temperature drop. Some parts of Saurashtra and North Gujarat are witnessing a fall in the daytime temperature.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted unseasonal rains. In addition, there will be a change in the weather in some parts of the state, and there is also a possibility of normal to moderate rainfall.

As per the Meteorological Department, a trough (band of cyclonic winds) is becoming active over Maharashtra. As a result, weather in Gujarat will change from March 31 to April 3. Unseasonal rains are likely to occur in Narmada and Tapi on March 31.

Rain is likely to occur in Amreli, Bhavnagar, Surat, Tapi, Navsari, Narmada, Chhota Udepur, Dang, Valsad, Daman, and Dadra Nagar Haveli on April 1. On the other hand, rain is also predicted in Gir Somnath, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Botad, Anand, Kheda, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Dahod, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Bharuch, Narmada, Surat, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, Daman, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli on April 2. Unseasonal rains are likely to occur in Narmada and Tapi on April 3.

As per weather expert Ambalal’s forecast, stormy winds will blow in Gujarat. Due to moisture and western disturbances in the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, weather in Gujarat will witness changes from the end of March and beginning of April. In parts of South Gujarat, East Gujarat, and Saurashtra, there are chances of cloudy weather along with scattered showers.
