Six-Year-Old Child Dies By Drowning In Water Tank In Jamnagar

Tragedy has struck in Rinari village of Jamnagar’s Kalavad taluka, where a 6-year-old child died by drowning after falling into a water tank.

Apparently, farmer Vijaysinh Mansinh Ganawa, hailing from Madhya Pradesh, lived in the Rinari village and worked in the farm of Shivabhai Meghjibhai Ranpariya. The former’s 6-year-old son, Mehul, had gone to the water tank to drink water. He accidentally fell into the tank and drowned, leading to his tragic demise.

He was taken to the Kalavad hospital for treatment, where the doctor on duty declared him dead. The child’s father has informed the police about the incident, and the Kalavad Rural Police has taken the possession of the body and is conducting further investigation.
