A large number of unemployed youth from across the state have gathered outside the MGVCL office, and are shouting slogans and going on a hunger strike in order to appeal to the negligent administration. About 800 posts were vacant in the Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited (MGVCL) earlier. Several unemployed youth from various districts across the state were successful in the examination and interview conducted for the same.
However, the youth have not been assigned jobs since. Earlier as well, the youth had gathered at the company’s office while doing dharna and shouting slogans. At that time, they were given assurance by the administration.
Since no action has been taken yet, the unemployed youth have once again gathered at the MGVCL office, protesting and shouting slogans while going on a hunger strike, in a bid to reach the deaf ears of the administration.
