Road From Vadaj Junction to Ranip Closed for Two Months, Diversions Announced

The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has announced that the road connecting Vadaj Junction to Ranip will remain shut for two months starting October 3, to facilitate the construction of a four-lane flyover and a two-lane underpass at the junction. Officials noted that the closure could continue until ongoing work at Vadaj Junction is fully completed.

Traffic Diversion Plan
During the closure period, traffic will be rerouted through alternate routes. Vehicles from Vadaj Junction towards Ranip will be diverted via Bhimjipura crossroads and Ramapir Tekra. Commuters heading towards Akhbarnagar Circle can use the Bhimjipura crossroads to reach National Handloom Junction.

Project Acceleration
According to AMC’s Bridge Project Department, the flyover construction had been progressing at a slow pace. With AMC general elections slated for February, instructions have been issued to speed up the completion of the project.
